Wade Mackenzie has been in the trucking industry ever since he was a youngster.

Wade also honed his skills in the Welding & Engineering trade at his family’s engineering workshop based in Kaitaia. His love of trucks saw him venture to Auckland, setting up base there in the early 2000s.

Starting off with one truck and adding to the fleet along the way, he worked hard in the industry and soon established a reputable name for himself as an experienced knowledgeable Hiab Operator servicing the wider Auckland area. Since then, he has added to the fleet over the years and continues to operate from Waitakere City, Auckland to this day.

These days you will find Wade behind the desk or on the other end of the phone in dispatch where his expertise is second to none. Whether he is in the truck or behind the desk, you can rest assured as a Hiab operator and truck driver Wade understands what each lift requires and brings extensive knowledge and years of hands-on experience to every job.

Health & Safety

The Health and Safety of our staff and those around us is paramount at Mackenzie Transport.

Our team are fully licenced, trained and competent in the operation of our trucks and cranes. We hold Site Wise Green consistently every year.

Each vehicle has its own tablet to record prestart checks on the vehicles and equipment, and every one of our lifts has an in-depth and compliant lift plan prepared prior to any lift.

Implementation

Each job has health and safety integrated into its plan
All hiabs are tested and certified annually
All cranes and lifting gear certifications are kept current, in safe working order and are renewed annually.
All gear is maintained on our on-site workshop
Each driver has the appropriate safety wear
Each vehicle has a copy of our health and safety manual
Each vehicle has a first aid kit
Each vehicle has a fire extinguisher fitted.
Each truck holds its own spill kit in case of leaks and/or spillage
